Whenever a form is submitted, Safari Portal can send an email notification containing the form responses.
When sharing a form, you can choose exactly who should receive these notifications and update those recipients at any time.
Choosing recipients
When sharing a form via Copy Link, Share via Email, or Embed Form, you'll be able to select who should receive submission notifications.
For standalone forms
For forms that are not assigned to a specific File, you can choose from:
- Form Creator
- Myself
- Other Team Member(s)
If you select Other Team Member(s), you'll be able to choose one or more team members from a dropdown list.
If you are also the form creator, the Form Creator option will be selected by default.
For forms assigned to a specific File
If a form is assigned to a File, you can choose from:
- Form Creator
- Myself
- File Owner
- Sales Consultant
- Other Team Member(s)
You may select any combination of recipients, or leave all options unchecked if you do not want email notifications sent for form submissions.
If the same person appears in multiple roles, they will only receive one notification email per submission.
For example, if the same person is both the File Owner and Sales Consultant, they will receive a single notification.
Updating recipients later
You can update notification recipients at any time by reopening the Share modal.
Access it from:
- The Share button
- Submission Recipients in the three-dot menu
Any changes you make will apply to future submissions only and will not affect notifications that have already been sent.
What recipients receive
Each submission automatically triggers an email notification for the selected recipients.
The form responses are included directly within the body of the email, and the subject line will read:
You have a new form submission from [Contact Name]
About lead forms
Files created from lead form submissions are automatically assigned to the form creator.
The form creator can reassign leads to another team member as needed.
Each team member can create and manage their own lead forms, making it easy to:
- Embed forms on personal bio or profile pages
- Collect leads associated with a specific team member
- Use personal lead forms alongside a shared team lead form
