What do clients see when completing the bookable trip process?
Understanding the client-facing view of bookable trips.

When a trip is made bookable, clients can view the available options and add-ons, select what works best for them, and complete their booking securely online. Here's what your clients will see:

  • When viewing an Itinerary or Lookbook they will see the Book Button in the lower right-hand corner.
    • This feature is not available for Guest Portals.

  • When clients click the Book button, they are taken to a secure booking page where they can:
    • Select their package options
    • Enter traveler information
    • Choose any available add-ons
    • Review a detailed booking summary
    • View the final invoice
    • Complete payment securely

  • If the client needs to add additional traveler information on the client facing Enter Travelers screen, click + Add Traveler.

  • Clients will see a running total in the lower-left corner as they select package options and add-ons.

  • When your client reaches the Continue to Payment screen, they’ll see a notification and receive an automated email that states:: If payment isn’t completed within 60 minutes, this reservation will expire and you’ll need to book again.
    • The email also includes a detailed booking summary of the charges and a link to the invoice for payment.

  • When the client clicks Continue to Payment or follows the link in the email, an invoice is automatically created. They can then click Pay Now on the invoice to complete their payment.

  • After clicking Pay Now, they can select their preferred payment method and complete the booking.

  • If payment reminders were enabled during the setup of the booking flow, the client will automatically receive reminders for subsequent payments.
