Once you've created an Itinerary or Lookbook, it's now time to share it with your client (or another agent if you are creating a proposal on their behalf). Here's how:
- Head to the Itineraries Dashboard.
- Click the arrow to the left of the File Name to view all relevant proposals.
- Under Actions, click the Share button next to the proposal that you'd like to share.
After clicking Share, the following screen will appear:
From here you have a few options:
Share with Client Versus Share with AGENT:
Note: this is an Add-on feature.
If you have created the itinerary on behalf of an agent from another company (as in, you are a DMC in this situation or partnering with another company), click the Share with Agent side of the window to start.
Option 1: Share the Proposal through the System
Whether you selected Share with Agent or Share with Client, you will now have the same two options: either to share the proposal through the system-generated email or copy the link to the proposal and share it by pasting the link in an email, text, or whatsapp message (for example).
Step 1: Input the client's or agent's name and email address. Then click Send at the bottom of the page. This will send the proposal through the system.
📌 Note: If you choose this method the client will receive an email from "Your Name" with the link and any message you may have added.
👯♀️ If you selected to Share with Agent, this will also send a copy of the itinerary into the agent's dashboard if they also use Safari Portal, and they will be able to edit the copy of the proposal from there. You will not see any changes they make on their copy.
It will arrive in their inbox looking something like this:
Option 2: Copy a Link to the Proposal
Instead of sending your clients their proposal via a Safari Portal generated email, you can also copy the proposal link and share it with them via an email, whatsapp, or text, for example.
Step 1: To do this, click the Copy Link button. This will copy the link to your clipboard.

Tips:
-
The keyboard shortcut for Paste is + V .
- You can also right click on your mouse and select paste.
You can now paste the link wherever you would like to share the proposal 🤓
