First off, What is the image block?
The image block makes it really easy to create beautiful and interesting page layouts in Safari Portal. To create different photo layouts, let's first understand all the layouts available using the image block. The layouts that are available using the photo block include:

Single photo - consisting of a single image

Two column photo - consisting of a two images side-by-side

Slideshow - consisting of three or more images
Now that you understand all the possibilities, let's figure out how to add them onto our page.
Now, let's add a single photo to a page:

Hover underneath the first text block on right side of the content page. This will display the blue 'Add New Element' line.

Next, click on the blue line to add a new element.

From the 'Add New Element' library, select the 'Images' element.

Next, click on the 'Upload Photo' button in the image element drop zone.

Next, search and select one photo from the media library or upload your own. Then click save.
Now, let's add a two column photo to a page:
Great job! Next, let's add a two column photo directly underneath the newly added single column photo.

Hover underneath the new single column photo to display the blue 'Add New Element' line.

Next, click on the blue line to add a new element.

From the 'Add New Element' library, select the 'Image' element.

Next, click on the 'Upload Photo' button in the image element drop zone.

Next, search and select two photos from the media library or upload your own. Then click save.
Finally, let's add a slideshow to a page:
Awesome work, see how easy that was! Finally, let's add a slideshow directly underneath the newly added two column grid.

First, hover over the right side of the content page to display the blue 'Add New Element' line.

Next, click on the blue line to add a new element.

From the 'Add New Element' library, select the 'Images' element.

Next, click on the 'Upload Photo' button in the image element drop zone.

Next, search and select multiple photos from the media library or upload your own. Make sure that there are more than 2 photos selected to create a slideshow element. Then click save.
