Area pages are a dynamic way to showcase the surroundings for your property or activity. Area Pages work to add more context to proposals and are a great selling point to potential clients.
Safari Portal has created hundreds of Area Pages for you to use but if you want to create a custom page or don't see the area you want to feature in our database, you can do it one of two ways: you could either click the Create New Content button from the Content Library dashboard and select Area Page, or you could do it at the same time you create your Property page.
Here is how you would create a special Area Page from the Property Page builder.
-
First we need to create a new Property Page. For step-by-step instructions on how to create content pages, head to How to create content pages before starting. To learn more about all the different types of pages you can create within Safari Portal, check out What are the Different Types of Content Pages in Safari Portal?
-
Next, begin to fill out the Details Form.
-
Let's stop at the 'Country' and 'Area' fields, this is where we will tell Safari Portal we want to create a new Area Page.
-
Click into the 'Country' field and fill in the correct country for the property / area - in this case we'll input 'Kenya'.
-
Next, click into the 'Area' field.
-
Next, click 'Add New Page' at the bottom of the list.
-
Enter the name of the new Area Page and Press 'Enter'.
-
Next, let's finish the property page by filling out the rest of the details in the Details, Resources, and Rooms tab.
-
Once you reach the inline builder, select 'Save' or 'Publish' from the top menu.
-
Finally, select 'Let's Go' when asked if you want to complete the new Area Page. From here you'll be taken to the Area Page details form to build out the page from scratch.
