Need to add a bunch of photos quickly to a page? Or maybe you want to stop cluttering up your desktop? No matter the reason, copying and pasting images into Safari Portal is easy. 😎
- Open the Replace Photo pop-up (by clicking the Replace Photo button for a Primary Image or clicking into an Images element)
- Right-click the image you want to copy and select Copy Image.
- In the pop-up, click into the Paste Image Here field in the top-right.
- Right-click and select Paste. Or use your keyboard shortcut to paste ( Ctrl + V for Windows, Cmd + V for Mac).
- The image will be added to your media library. You can continue adding or editing tags and the image's name like normal.
Tips & Tricks
- You can copy images from your web browser, desktop, or other applications like PDFs or Microsoft Word.
- You can copy-paste a wider list of file types, like .svg files and .webp files (unlike uploading images).
- Copy-paste still limits file size to under 5 MB. Try resizing, then copying and pasting the image.
- Even though you can add .gif file types, Safari Portal can't animate gifs. They'll be pasted in as static images.
Have fun making beautiful content! 💕
