Email tasks are especially powerful because you can send them right from Safari Portal. Read on to find out all there is to know about email tasks.
Create a new email task
You can make a one-off email task or add one to your Task Set.
One off task
- Go to Create New > Create One Off Task.
- Scroll down to Task Type and select Email. A field for the subject line and email content as well as a dropdown for Email Templates will automatically be added to your task.
Adding to your Task Set
- Navigate to your Task Set by clicking More > Manage Task Set.
- Click Add New Task in the top-right to start.
📌 Tip: Remember you're not creating a one-off task! Tasks in the Task Set should capture things you do for all kinds of trips, not just one client. - Scroll down to Task Type and select Email. Fields for Subject, Body, and the Select Template dropdown will automatically be added to your task.
Change a task to an email task
You can change any task into an email task.
- Click Edit to the right of the task you'd like to modify.
📌 If you don't see the Edit button, the task may not be able to be edited by you. - Scroll down to Task Type and select Email. Fields for Subject, Body, and the Select Template dropdown will automatically be added to your task.
📌 Tasks can have up to two categories. You may need to delete a category your task is already in to modify it into an email task. - Add your email subject and content, then click Update. That task is now an email task!
