We don't update your tasks when you update an email template to preserve any personalization you've done to individual messages (like adding the recipient's name). But it's easy to update tasks with revised email templates.
- Click Edit next to the task with the email you want to change.
- Navigate down to the Email section.
Notice the Save as Template toggle is off, and no template is selected in the Select Template dropdown. This means all current edits to the email draft are local to this task and won't be saved to the email template. - From the Select Template dropdown, choose the template you want to update the task with.
- Click Update.
Boom! You've updated the email template for this task. When it comes time to complete the task, all you need to do is click the Send button and the email will be teed up for you and ready to go. 💥
