⚠️Update: Your emails should no longer be marked as spoofing. Safari Portal has implemented new settings to combat Microsoft's and Google's August 2024 email policies. But if you want to be safe than sorry for any of their future changes, follow the steps below!

Occasionally, email service providers may mark emails you send through Safari Portal as "spam" or "potential spoofing." This is due to the no-reply@safariportal.app email address that sends these emails. Taking the steps below can help to prevent this.
Note: You need access to your company's domain provider to complete these steps. If that's not you, we recommend forwarding this Help article to whoever manages your company's email domain.
- Go to your company domain's Google Admin Console.
- Go to Apps 🡪 Google Workspace 🡪 Gmail 🡪 Safety.
- Scroll down to the section titled Spoofing and Authentication and enable the following settings (make sure there are checkboxes ✅ next to each of them):
- Protect against domain spoofing based on similar domain names

- Protect against spoofing of employee names

- Protect against inbound emails spoofing your domain

- Protect against any unauthenticated emails

Choose an action: Keep email in the inbox and show warning
- Choose a quarantine: Default

Choose an action: Keep email in the inbox and show warning
- Protect your Groups from inbound emails spoofing your domain
- Apply this setting to: All groups
- Choose an action: Keep email in the inbox and show warning
- Apply future recommended settings automatically.
- Protect against domain spoofing based on similar domain names

You're done! Now if one of your emails is ever marked as "spoofing," you'll get emails from Google telling you to review messages in quarantine.
