We tried to be very thoughtful about how itineraries, lookbooks, and guest portals connect with the agent Safari Portal dashboard.
Here are the rules around how this works:
Showing "Planning" in the app
- Lookbooks will always appear as "Planning" in the app
- Itineraries that are "In the Pipeline" or "Archived" stages in the agent's Safari Portal dashboard will also appear as "Planning" in the app
Past tab in the app
- If a trip is in the past, even if it is still "In the Pipeline" on the agent dashboard, it will automatically move to the Past tab in the app
Showing dates in the app
- If the file is in the "Confirmed" or "Completed" stages in the agent's Safari Portal dashboard, it will show the dates for the trip in the app
Removing itineraries, lookbooks, guest portals from the app
- Within the app, itineraries can be moved to Archived and then deleted from the app from there; this has no affect whatsoever on which pipeline the file is in in the agent's Safari Portal dashboard
- If an agent deactivates an itinerary within the Safari Portal agent dashboard, it will no longer appear in the app
Miscellaneous
- Within the app, clients/ travelers can move trips to archived but this has no affect on what stage the file is in within the agent’s dashboard
