When creating itineraries in Safari Portal, a Map page is automatically created based on the accommodation options that you have included within your Details tab.
If you are working in the Classic Builder, you will need to make sure that the properties have been @mentioned within the Details tab. If no properties are @mentioned in this section, the system does not know what data points or coordinates to show.
If you are working in the Calendar Builder, you will need to add an accommodation event from either the timeline or calendar view, search for the accommodation from the content library and then select the correct one that your guests will be staying at from the dropdown.
💡 Tip: Don't forget to add in check-in and check-out times, rooming type and basis of stay.
Similarly, for Lookbooks, the system will automatically pin any Property and/or Area pages you have included on the General Info tab. If you do not include any Property or Area pages on the General Info tab, then there will not be any map generated.
There is however a very handy solution if you would like to create your own map, or if you would like to create a map with custom point of interest - for example, with activities or tours on the map. Please explore this help article for step by step instructions.
